its because we have more teen related shooting then anywhere in the world. We have like a huge chucnk of percentage where the rest of the world has small tiny percentages we discussed in my sociology class.

My point was to try and get your media from a number of different sources.Our market is flooded with opinions being shoved in our face as well. It takes a special talent and a strong mind to form your own opinion in this new age of mass propaganda.

I think it's funny how when things like this happen they try and pin it on one particular thing. The moral fabric of society has been degrading for quite some time now. How about the the hip hop video's with their "Bitches and shit, Fuck the police, and their over all priority of wealth above everything else". I hate to sound like a cliche, but really, if the parents are aware and involved with their kids lives then some of these things could be prevented. Kids need someone to look up to. It is a fact of life. As they grow they need a foundation to form the person they will become. Most parents these days couldn't name 5 of their kids closest friends. They prefer to stick them in front of a PS3 or a computer and hope they aren't being misinformed. They gamble away the future of the children and look for excuses (like rock music) rather than showing them the right path in life.

I don’t know about you, but for me it was scary to become a parent in the world we live in. I have to make a conscious choice not to get too busy to invest in the lives of my two young children. Even though they’re not even in school yet, the foundation building starts early.
