My BF2 and BF2 Demo worked fine befor I reinstalled my OS but now they do not. I can connect to the online service but when I try and join a server (Demo Gulf) it says loading for a few secs. then returns immediately to the server select screen with no error messages what so ever. When I try the same thing with BF2 Full version I simply get booted off the game all together and crash to my desktop. I do not think this is an issue in relation to opening ports for I have tried that (not sure if I did it right, opened like 20 suggested ports), but more importantly I did not have to open any ports when the game worked befor. Is a reinstall necessary? I hope not...It's so tedious.
Note: When I reinstalled my OS i did not have to reinstall BF2 services.
