Personally, my take on James Blunt is "so-so", I think some stuff is good, some isn't, but I understand the fact that he is one of the few "real musicians" out there today. I find it ironic that most of the big music names that bash on him are the acts that were but together by music labels or morons who can't even play their own instruments.
I think it goes along the lines of, in high school there was the one guy who listened to Backstreet Boys and N'Sync and everyone gave him a hard time for it, but at the same time, that was the guy fucking your girlfriend when you were at the football game out of town. We all ragged on BSB and Nsync but they got people laid, same thing with James Blunt, I bet the guy fucking your wife right now listens to James Blunt.
