Just curious as to which RAM you all prefer, Also does it actually matter what company makes it or is it all the same?.

Depends on the rig, cheapo rig for just doing shit on Crucial is cheap and stable and performs fairly well. For gaming I've never strayed from Corsair.
Alright thanks for your input.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

Corsair is better if you're talking performance, but I've gone cheaper with Crucial and have no complaints.
For my last PC i used Kingston and it ran fine and they are great with the warrenty. It went out and I had new sticks 36 hours later and its lifetime warrenty with them. I beleive corsair is the same with the warrenty but since I switched it seems i get a little better performance with it.
Dominator.
erm, Patriot ftw. I've been very pleased with their ram.

I'd have to go with OCZ, they have treated me good so far.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of OCZ as well. That's what I've got in my system right now and it works perfectly. Low temps, low latency, and just overall a really good product for the price.
corsair is the best. it loads maps like wtfhax
I've used all those brands, the Corsair did better than the other two but I recently moved onto G-Skill memory and I can tell you they are way better than the Corsair ones I dealt with.
I don't have very good luck when it comes to Corsair, quality thing, I assume they are better now. The G-Skill ones I have now paired up with the DS3 helped me get my E6300 to 3.5ghz.

I have had Corsair..which I have had some good experience with and now I have G.E.I.L which I'm very satisfied with.

Crucial - for the bang-per-buck.
I've got 1.5GB Corsair's Value Select DDR400 in my system. I recently added the other 512MB stick and it actually helped with the BF2 game lag. All the other RAM is probably good stuff. I've gotten good use for the relative inexpensive amount I have paid for it.
You didn't include any good brands...
OCZ, G.Skill, Geil, Patriot...

Crucial Ballistix in this rig, good shit
