No I think his account did get deleted... if you look at his BF2s.com stats they say they will update in 6 seconds, but they don't update. And on other bf2 stat sites it says the user can't be found.

ROFL first person that I know of to get their account deleted

I just want to make sure that what nitro did shouldnt reflect to the whole AIF clan. Its clear that some ppl playing with / against any AIF member think about nitro's mistake first. Its like Shell and Brent Spar, Colombia and cocaine and so on. But this is unfair. If nitro's account got deleted, ok. Let it be. If not, shame on EA. But let it be. Think about this: He's probably one of thousands. Maybe your clanmate cheats and you dont know it. We all hate cheaters and some of you used nitro as a valve for it. But I think this has come to an end some day... imho.

I havent made it matey, i found it on a site, so go right ahead and use it.

But please do mention when you post it that the AIF clan shown in the picture has nothing to do with hacking and they booted nitro as soon as they found out. Cause it seems loads of ppl are taking it out on the AIF clan if you check their forums. Thx.

I get the impression that this comunity is very immature is from the way in which my clan was attacked on our own forums By members from these forums , so go figure .......... As soon as i found out what happened he was emailed and told in no uncertain terms what i thought of him and booted  from the clan ... May be a little more  responsiblity should have taken place and some1 maybe approached us before letting everyone loose taking their misguided anger out on the WHOLE CLAN ....

Just as your clan had an individual who does not represent you and what you stand for as a whole, so does this community. I understand that you must be feeling really angry right now, but please do not take it out on the bf2s.com community as a result of a few individuals, or you will be no better than those who ran over to your site to attack your clan as a whole. The only person who deserves your anger is nitro himself, and it sounds like you already gave him your thoughts on the matter. As I said before, this will blow over in time, and I truly hope it is quick for the sake of your clan name.

just take it as a challenge. no doubt, its a huge avalanche for a clan trying to get known for skill and success. Its probably much harder than in the CS scene, where cheaters and script kiddies are everywhere.

bushrangr: just make a statement news / sticky post and explain the situation. what did happen, what have you done (booting nitro, taking a stand on it in forums etc.). and close the threads with the explanation, that the show must go on. Thats my advice (as a scrutinized communications manager).

To tell you guys the truth, stats dont mean jack to the leaders of AIF. We wont discourage people if they chase their stats around. But we have played games which dont track stats. The way to show real winners is on the field, on the ladder.

We are commited to keeping this clan clean, which means we will boot dicks that cheat.

Nitro should get an IP ban from EA.

So guys, thanks for all who have been giving us some support and if you see crap in other places, spread some of my words around.

He got a GUID ban actually. And I've updated the first post of this thread with a HUGE NEON GREEN blurb that generally says your clan are good guys and did the right thing by immediately booting him when you found out. One thing I might suggest though: make a news entry for your site's homepage explaining the nitro situation and that you immediately booted him, etc etc. That's probably the best thing you can do to help clean your name.
