I have a TV. It's awesome. It forms my opinions on life, pop culture, and whats going on in the world.
Very convenient.

Bet you spend a lot of time on YouTube though.klassekock wrote:
Simple as this. My TV broke down two years ago and i still haven't bought a new one and i don't intend to do so either since i find my life so much better without it. More time to do other things, no stupid commercials, soap documentarys or other useless programs.
I want to know if i'm the only one at this forum not to own a TV?
You have "more time now to do other things" like computer? You own a computer but you haven't got a TV? lmao pleaseklassekock wrote:

Commercials. Meh. Once you go TIVO and/or DVR, I watch what TV program I want when I want. Skip through those commercials. When I have to watch a live broadcast, I miss being able to skip or fastforward. Being able to rewind and watch those "wardrobe malfunctions" is just icing. And last, use my DVD-recorder to save those choice programs.Hurricane wrote:
Yep, HD. Fiber optic TV (much cheaper than Com "Fuck Our Customers" cast) + DVR = pretty damn good. 24 in HD just rocks.
Although I do agree about commercials. I don't give a shit about the AARP medicare supplement, or some barbie ad. Every once in a while there's a good commercial, but the majority of them are fucking worthless.
It's a pretty good argument someone brought up in PC Mag in one issue. He said he had antenna TV because he thinks cable's a ripoff. Sure the quality's better, but it costs money for only a handful of channels you'll actually watch + advertisements off the roof.
Jeeesus! I have no idea what you just said with those TV specs. I guess i have a lot of reading up to do on TV technics when i do decide to buy one......Ilocano wrote:

But as far as TV count, only 4. Waiting for 1080P to go just a little bit lower, along with LED backlit and 10/12 bit technology to go mainstream.
EEP! I hope TV isn't the only source from which you form your opinions on life...mKmalfunction wrote:

Interesting read. You next TV should be HDTV. Us US folks will change over in 2008.klassekock wrote:
