If all of those came directly from the Qur'an, then how is that some idiot saying they are all jihadists? If that is what they teach and believe, then i'm sorry.....but fuck that. That's way extreme. It's not like the guy was taking specific clips of muslims and trying to make them all look like shit as a whole, like some Michael Moore video. It comes right outta their friggin handbook. But it figures, you can't speak out against any minority or protected class in the States without getting branded as a racist, or having someone come down on you.
That's just the thing. We have no idea how they're interpretating the Quran, no idea if the person who made the vid is a credited journalist, nothing. The only thing I know is that all religious "Holy" books have messed up stuff in them, as Turqoise said, and if every religious person in the world followed what their holy book said word for word, the world would be a pretty scary place.
It's all a matter of interpretation. And the video implies that every Muslim in the world is as crazy as the Islamic jihadists. Which simple isn't true. So yes, it can easily be viewed as offensive.
And I find it very fucking funny that you actually believe you're some kind of victim for "speaking out" (LMFAO) against a group of minorities. You know as well as I do there are plenty of American muslims that are about as different as the jihadists as you and I. The only thing that connects them to their radical enemies is the name of the religion. The good Muslims deserve to be respected. And you can easily tell the video is not fairly representing good Muslims. Any Holy book can be interpreted negatively -- and especially after 9/11, I think it's very safe to say an American Muslim would be offended by what that video was implying. It's not open-minded, it's not showing both sides of the story. The video is shit.
