More a personal interest thread than a political debate.

D&ST, do you collect coins/notes?  If so, whats the pride of your collection?  Anything you're proud of or would like to know more about?

I have a few late 1800s NZ pennies, a couple of Ceylon coins and a Canadian two dollar note.

I would have to say that the pride of my collection is in the nearly half pound of gold coins of which my favorite is an 1849 $1 gold piece.
