I have about 126,000 points.

To be a brig gen you need vet aviator which i dont have yet....

my question is: if and when i become a colonel at 150,000 points, and i subsequently receive my vet aviator badge (after getting 180,000 points), will i then get promoted to gen or stay at colonel?
