and now when i join a server running either expansion (i downloaded and installed both EF and AF) it loads the map and i click join and it goes to the menu and says

"this server blah blah unmodified content. please revert back to original bf2 blah blah"


do i half to reinstall patches after downloading and installing expansions?

any other help?

Yes ya do.  It'll only take a few seconds to do, and then you'll be good to go.

OK. I had the same problem.

First uninstall everything (ya I know that sucks)

Then install BF2 and Special Forces.

Then run patch 1.41

Then add EU.  then run patch 1.41

Then add AF and run patch 1.41

I know its a long process but it worked for me like a charm
