Palenque, Mexico
made me think of the new years fireworks
they were f'kin excellent
That would be awesome! It would be cool if soccer caught on in the States.
speaking of FCB, i just got a pair of the Ronaldinho hard ground cleats...they give amazing touch. Oh, and my grandfather played at Atletico Bilbao, which i find to be pretty sweet. Oh, and where i am, soccer is pretty damn big.Zimmer wrote:

A sampling from my last Vacation
Parliament Palace (Casa Poporului) in Bucharest, Romania - bad history but stunningly opulent and massive, sits mostly unused today - Tour guide was pretty hot as well.
The Transylvanian Mountain Villiage of Brasov, Romania (very near to where "Cold Mountain" was filmed)
A good shot of the Castle Bran in.... well .... Bran, Romania
A shot of the Transylvanian Countryside from atop the castle.. Man I loved romania been there twice already can't wait to go back
All the craziness that is the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey
The Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey - Built as a Christian Church later became an Eastern Orthodox Church and then it was turned into a Mosque. Became a museum with the founding of the modern Turkish republic.
Absolutely stunning frescos inside that had been covered are now being uncovered and restored.
