Hi I'm new to this and was wondering... I have added this patch awhile back but not sure that I have it running. When you look up custom games on the bf2 menu u still see 1.4 version written beside the game names. Should it read 1.41. Also, there's approximately around 160 odd servers when you go into multiplayer and around 12 on special forces. Have I done something wrong or is everything ok?
If the servers come up red, then you aren't on the same patch or mod. There should be around 1000 servers running patch 1.41. (Depends on if you have "populated" and/or "not full" checked)

What filters do you have ticked? with all my various filters ticked i only get ~88 servers, but unticked i get ~5000.
Best thing to do, would be to download and install the 1.41 patch- from here.
You don't need to uninstall BF2 or anything... just download it, install it, and it will be fine.

Yes I have various filters on. Glad to know it reads 1.4 on yours also
maybe it is just the servers that havent updated their name since 1.4
Yes quite possibly. Justed checked what filters i have on which are as follows-ranked-battlerecorder-same version only-populated-same mod-punkbuster- and small-med- large maps. these are all my filters which i have selected and there are 202 servers appox now.
It is probably the battlerecorder filter that is letting you down- untick it, it doesnt work anyway.
Turned off battlerecorder and got 1015 servers so I think I am ok. Cheers thanks for your help.
