I got a guys tags yesterday and took a screen shot and the tags were blank. You think this is just a glitch or is the player doing something?

Does the tag show up in your stats leaderboard if so can you give us a link to his stats and your stats too.

it means you've already gotten that players dog tags, so they're no longer unique...at least that's what happens in my experience.
Well no that cant be correct because I have taken others multiple times and they are not blank. I'll check my stats real quick and see if they are there. Thanks didnt think of that.Megalomatthew wrote:

nope they are not in my stats either, when I get home I'll post a screenie of the blank tags.
I have experienced this happen loads of times dont worry about it.

I think its a bug, have had it several times myself or only a - shows up, I dunno what it causes exactly, can't be a certain symbol because ^$^(@#$&(<> can't be used in name tags atleast I think so.

By using a certain code before your name, you can make your dogtags to show up without a name. There was a mentioning of this tactic on this forum (searvhed, but could not find the topic).
It's often done by people who don't want their dogtags to be used as showcase material.
