i was really thinking about getting one but how much better are they than a keyboard and what would they do for me
In theory they allow you to make tighter turns and more complex movements. Using a joystick has clear advantages over a mouse when in a do fight. Personally, I do not use a joystick because I seem to cope just fine in dog fight situations, though I can tell when I am playing against someone who has a joystick; they are much harder to follow.
i really had the same thoughts just like you. i doubted buying one but now i don't regret it. it is perfect for flying cause your are more flexible, more precise (especially with the mg or flying through the dam in kubra) and you clearly have an advantage in dogfights! BUY ONE
