When I say "uberpatriots", I refer to the kind of people who brook no criticism of America whatsoever. The people who scream about the evils of "political correctness" and "the liberal biased media" any time someone has the audacity to say that America fucked up somewhere and should fix it. The ones who constantly brand their fellow Americans with labels like "traitor", "terrorist-lover", et cetera should someone express a thought that contradicts their belief that America was created perfect and remains perfect. They're also the people whose discourse occasionally degenerates into wishing violent harm on anyone expressing those same contradictory-to-America's-perfection thoughts. Simply put, they'd be happy as clams if they were born in Stalin's Russia or Mao's China or Saddam's Iraq, since they possess the same demented level of State-worship those leaders tried to cultivate in their citizens.ATG wrote:
Nonsense.
The " uberpatriots " are loyal to the constitution above all else.
We view lack of leadership in areas such as border enforcement as capital crimes.
We believe the government has turned its back on the Constitution and swears loyalty to some shadowy concept of haves, and have naughts.
The two party system is the problem.
Well were I live in Peurto Ricans (people whose family came for Puerto Rice) consider Peurto Rico to be extremely different from the US, almost to the point that it is an independant country. They seem to have a very strong "nationalistic" pride in Peurto Rice, almost to the point were they do not think of it as part of the US. While The Bronx is way different from Peurto Rico if the people who do actually still live in Peurto Rico feel the same way then they would strongly want their island to be an independant nation, and would want Peurto Rico to leave the US at its first chance.
Have them vote
Disown PR, and let those arrogant kids suffer. Most Puerto Ricans I know have this really nasty snotty arrogant attitude, like they own the US or something. But none of them support any US cause whatsoever. I don't know about the native Puerto Ricans, but the ones that are here in the US really need to get shot, or uh, something.
