just a sec. asus downloads are so incredibly slow
great, just great. asus support is apparentely down. but you should be able to find the spot yourself in the manual. look for cas latency. put that (and all the other availible latencys) up a notch. if you can figure it out i'll try again tomorrow. i'm tired
EDIT: ok here we go. go to bios --> advanced --> CPU configuration --> DRAM Configuration: Put MEM Clock frequency to match your ram or a speed lower, put Tcl, Trcd, Trp, Tras to 1 setting above what you have now/1 above the standard timings, put T1/T2 memory timing to 2T.
however if your ram is still under warranty (it probably is, ram has the longest warranties in pc industry) it should run correctly if you put in the values advertised into the fields (the auto settings often cause trouble). if it makes errors you should rma it.
EDIT2: to bump the voltages go to bios --> advanced --> jumper free config --> ai tuning put on manual --> put the ram voltages to 1 option higher than stated my OCZ the ram will run at (usually should be 1.85V now). again if still under warranty the ram should run at the advertised voltages error free.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
