Um, no.

I'm not name calling, at all.  Giving credit cards and what not to ILLEGALS is a liberal thing.  These people should not get health care, or any other government benefits.  You're sick?  Tough shit.  I don't want my hard earned money going to these shit heads.  I don't work so that mexicans can have a better life.  No sir.
Plenty of neoconservatives support this kind of thing too.  Bush isn't exactly a liberal, but he's pretty lenient on the immigration thing.
I know some may not like Glenn beck, but he nailed it this morning.

I have to admit...  with time, I grow a lot more fond of Beck.

He's kind of a neo-populist.  Lou Dobbs is another good one.

You don't ask for much, now do you?

I don't think you can find those qualities in a high-level politician.
Please forgive my optimism; I just watched "Man of the Year"

The fact that I ask for a lot is the principle in and of itself.

By and large, the American people aren't asking for enough from their system.  I'm not talking about healthcare, defense, or any of those other things -- I'm talking representation.

We don't ask for enough with regards to the character of our leaders.  We vote a rich guy in thinking he's some kind of honest guy that will somewhat represent our interests, but then unsurprisingly, he votes more in line with special interest groups.

The system is partially to blame, but I should've mentioned that we are the problem as well.  We should expect both parties to produce leaders with more relevance to our interests.  When we start comprehensively looking at who really might end up with the job of representing us as a nation, we'll start getting better candidates, because the parties will know that we expect someone impressive and honest.
