ak101. always
I voted the M249 for iron sights. If you can keep your bursts short the ROF of that LMG can kill alot shit quickly.
I guess the ring and post sights I seem to prefer. Like on the MP5 and G3 and the HK21 LMG for EU
And as much as I like it, the MP7 iron sights are the hardest to point accurately with. It appears if you line the front post about halfway down the post on your target you hit.

I think the M16 is best for me.
I really don't like the ring sights on the G3, that's why I only use it in very close combat.

not using sights on most guns actually reduces kick, making any accuracy advantage useless...CoronadoSEAL wrote:

I rarely scope in anymore, I find that single shoot + Prone + Unscoped = More accurate at long range most the time, but thats just me. (ak + m16 + unscoped = win)
The sights on the MG36 and the MR-444 are the worst. With the MR-444 you have to aim under your target (a lot too) and with the MG36 you have to aim slightly above your target.pebblebash wrote:
I'd say the M16A2 because it's so accurate... Most of the other gun's ironsights are crooked / off center.
Except on the G36C. That gun has no kick, even when scoped. It may seem as though the gun kicks a bit, but you can just set it to single shot and keep slamming on the trigger all you want, eacht and every shot will land spot on.TehMyke wrote:

I dont scope unless I'm using a sniper rifle.
I got a berol pen and zoomed in with the L96 and put a dot right in the center. Works a treat. Especially with tv missiles. but thats something different obviously

The easiest for me has got to be the G3A3. I usually hit where I want to with it.
as far as iron sights go, g36 series is far more accurate, and kinda unfair in accuracy though. but the g36c is nicely underpowered. and the g36e is well... a g36e. never liked the g36c at all tho, or the g3a3.
K, cs takes more skill than bf2CoronadoSEAL wrote:

I chose G3/MP5. Dunno, I just seem to like those the best. If red dot scopes were considered Iron Sights, I would have chosen those. M16 and the AKs are a close second.
