The SIMPLE TRUTH is is the world is overpopulated, people are expendable in the eyes of big business. With secret handshakes with politicians, corperations can do what ever they like.  The corperations buy the politicians and the media to tell you its all o.k.   Meanwhile they will poison you if it makes them money.  Why would they give one shit if you died? 

War is profitable.  Death is profitable. Suffering is profitable.  Sickness is profitable. 

Healthcare programs, public aid, good health, environmental laws, health regulations are not profitable. what power wants to lose money? 

What are you gonna do? you'll go to those same people for treatment. They won't be hurt by it.   Greed is God in this world.   

Humans are merely an expendable resource that constantly renews for new humans to exploit.  This current Epoch in the history of the human race is marked merely by the ability of those in power  to efficently abuse and rape people for thier own gain.

No one who's in power gives a shit about life.   Sad but true.

The human race is nothing more than a commodity.

It's not just which pole the media is aligned to, it's overexposure to media period. Most people here sit in their rooms all day and base their opinion of the world off of what they see and hear on the news and websites. For example, oug stated that the US today is no different than Nazi Germany. Many others think the US is some oppressive dictatorship because they read a story here or there about phone-tapping, etc. The fact of the matter is that the lives of these people have not been effected...they just think they have been because the media tells them so.

The same as what we get from our news sources - Hugo Chavez is a corrupt, election-tampering dictator.  Iran is out of control, Hezbollah is Iranian-controlled, Israel has a right to defend their sovereignty, etc.

Which is why I said It's not just which pole the media is aligned to, it's overexposure to media period in the first sentence of my post. Of course the media is going to influence someone's general opinion, but as this forum has shown, some people have been borderline brainwashed. Some of the stupidest literature I have read in my life can been found in the post histories of many users on this forum. Do I need to start digging up posts made by IRONCHEF, oug, Ausch88, etc. or do you get the idea?
