We speak English same as you. We have lots of different accents like America, do rednecks sound the same as you?. TBH I laugh quite often when i hear "English characters" in American tv programs as its often quite hilarious how they try to invent accents that don't seem to exist over here. The girl on that vid sounded like Dick van dykes attempts at a cockney accent (which is spoke in a specific part of london only) while the baby was speaking in the queens English which is how some of the upper class people talk.

I bet if you were sat with people from different states in America some of the accents would be just as amusing and in fact they would probably laugh at yours.

I am considering moving to the US at some point as I don't fancy bringing up kids in the UK anymore. The young people who live in the UK these days are badly behaved, poor mannered and I want to get as far away from it as possible if I can.

You will find that unfortunately everywhere you go. If you can afford it send your kids to private school. Kids are still assholes there but atleast they wont be going around breaking the law and getting pissed at the age of 10 or having sex while they are still under 16-17.

I work for a new airline and we are close to launching it. We purchased a shitload of planes from Airbus, which is why we have so many people from all over Europe. We also get a ton of people from Canada and New Zealand. I work in a melting pot.

True, the soviets did put up some pretty impressive numbers of casualties. But thats due to the overwhelming fear that was driving them. A soldier that lives, fights another day. This was lost on the russians in that they sent thousands of soldiers in a frontal assaults hoping that their sheer numbers would do the work.

Back on topic, I don't think the EU should join the US. Both sides are full of themselves. The European's sense of false superiority they held onto so many centuries ago and the US's inability to play well with others. On second thought, we'd be great together!!!! You'd just have to deal with the wiggers and we'd have to deal with the chavs!! Its a win/win!!
