Jesus, people you are all embarasing your selfs lol
I doubt such a plan could be workable without some pretty major development's/changes put in place, first of all theres no fucking way I am sining the American national anthem, heck I despise god save the queen, but then I am a catholic scotsman. By the way I mean no disrespect to the American anthem or nation, but you know, it's just not my thing.
Seen the huge gulf of we saved you ass yet again and not to bring it up again though I guess I am, it was the Russian winter which won the war for us (us as in alies no US as in united states mmmmmk )
I doubt european states would like to be classed as 'American' nor would I think the Americans would be that glad to see them. Some times I think God put that pesky little pond between us for a reason, we have similarities, but what our differences are is what makes us what we are. That isnt to say we cant get along. I've lived in the US for most of my life and yet would never class my self as American. I like lot's of people owe a great deal to America and I thank each and every one of you for it, but theres no way in currect climate's we will get along. Something would arise, and cause a civil war I am sure of it, American north and south, and now we will have American East and West, yet I would dred to think up the conoquences of such a fight.
I could see an aliance forming, yet each nation upholds it's own identity, easier imigration, tax insentives to encourage growth, you know the basic fundemental reasons's the European union was formed in the first place.
I do not see at this moment in time a credible argument for such a venture to take place, things may arise which would call for us eventually needing to, I guess it be one step closer to this idea of a united world which would I guess make us all a lot happier, rather than suspecting each other constantly.
I like the idea actually, I would love to be able to go from new york to london as easily as I go from manchester to glasgow, and I am sure the many buissinesses we have based in our nations would love to see there consumer base more than double. Less the next administration of the US does some serious mending of it's countries reputation, this argument of Americans are a bunch of arogant bastards will continue for decades......
