Don't even need ziplines... just get some string and tie your cables in bunches.  I used to pull cable for a living, it's easy to secure your cables/wires to just about anything.

Tape works well too.  Just don't get something too sticky like electric tape.  3M makes a gray tape that works very well that I would reommend.

I've got a jungle under my desk. If my memory card didn't die I'd take some photos. However, if I sold my X52 and z5300s I would have far less clog

cable management can't hurt. it doesn't take that long, and it improves it visually. zipties are good, but they're a little permanent, and you'll want to get flush cut nips, so you don't have nasty sharp edges on the ties when you cut them back. believe, using those nips will save your hands some nasty cuts.

I forgot that Newegg gave me a free 1 gig card with my camera. Fuck Corsair's memory cards...

If you do it right and in a single round you will get your Expert Zip Tie Badge.

Hmm, i have 10 bags of all different size zip ties/cable ties.
But the only reason I don't bother with cable management, is because I move my PC from one place to another way too often. that mess down there only took 3 weeks to build.
and i use most of those cables every day. just gotta dig with 2 hands to get to the right one.

I have the worst mess it is in a cramped desk up next to the wall so my comp is very tight fitting. I have a surge protector hooked to another one plus my two tvs, xbox 360,all hookups for the computer i have a few wires with a cable clamp but not very much.

I just took like 8 hours the other night to clean & reorganize my shit but I ended up putting it in a place I can't easily reach so it went back to being messy in about a day & 1/2

i tried both ways, use the preset part and then the one where you sit with small tweezers trying to match the lables.
