This is a debate and serious talk section, (duh, D&ST) and to be honest many posts here don't look very serious. There are many interesting threads and posts (most of them in fact) in this section. But there are other posts which consist in topic derailments and personal attacks. I know it's in the rules, but it seems the rules don't exist for some people.

And the problem is not the age of the posters. You can be 15 years old and mature. The problem is the disrespect for other people's views some members have here.

If you have any suggestions to stop these things, please post them here. You can also derail this thread as well. I know a few guys who will.

Not a swing, just a revelation of his hypocrisy. Look at the links I provided. While I, and many others, try to maintain civil debate, he takes it personal. Do you not find it ironic that the person who went on a tirade of flaming, derailing, and spam threads, and even made a post saying he was leaving the forum never actually left for a day and is now lecturing us on proper forum behavior?

I don't know if you recall, but the day sergeriver made his little emo "I'm leaving" thread, he also spammed the forum with so many retaliatory threads aimed at usmarine that Chuy himself had to delete them.

Also, Bubbalo, having made a thread glorifying the 9/11 hijackers as heroes and nearly getting permabanned as a result of your antics here, I don't think you really have any credibility to comment on the matter.
