I was just wondering from a coding point of view how people format their BB code. I know there is no different between either format when it gets displayed, but from a html coding side, I will write it down as [color][/color] - nested within each other.

Lets look at this as a small experiment.

Vote and then say what you voted for and then if you have ever had any experience with HTML coding.

nested (second option), doesn't matter in normal HTML, but in some languages it does, so better to be consequent then.

nah BB code does not care what way you format it.

@Mr De_Jappe, yeah it doesnt matter in html, but if you want to validate it as xhtml then you need to nest everything properly.

It seems that so far most people do it the "correct" way.
