I am not that up to date with emo music, but that sounds more techno to me.
Drum and Bass remix of a hardcore track to be precise.  This is the emo music hating thread, so people who actually like techno/hip hop/rap/gangster can post videos.  I think there is an emo loving thread somewhere else....
Sorry, your orginal post seems a little strange, because you are talking about how you hate it, then post a techno video.  I and other here, seem to get the wrong impression from the orginal post.  Maybe you should edit it, to say that you like the video you posted, and how you think that it is better then emo music.  That would clear a lot of stuff up.

As for the person who stated that rap is all about shooting cops, you have not really heard rap.  That is the mainstream, early 90s stuff.  Here are some videos of really good rap groups, and are not mainstream.

Jurrasic 5:  The Infulence:

Jurassic 5: Work It Out

Dialated Peoples: Worse comes to Worse:

Dialated Peoples: Back again

Another group that I like is X-Ecutioners, they are a very good group of DJs.  I also like DJ Magic Mike, and other DJs.  I also listen to a lot of bass music, basically music that is driven by the bass, rather then the mids or highs like most music.

Wow, has this thread screwed up the display for anyone else? (nm, edited)

edit: Mashup sounds in the place

I don't mean anything by metal.  I don't actually apply judgements to entire genres, I judge everything on it's merit.  My first post is a sarcastic retort to the "I hate techno/pop/hip hop/rap" thread.  In fact, most of my favourite music would be very, very difficult to cast into a single genre.

Bass Nacho - Needle On The Record

Typically, emo kids to dye their hair jet black, and wear girl pants.

Close, but not the whole bass driven like this one that starts at 00:30, the Feel the Bass part.

I have the CD that that comes from, anything from the Sonic Overload CD.  Youtube does not do bass any justice.  I like bass that hits, and hits hard.  I like Bass Mekanik also.

My first true car was a S-10 Xtreme with an extended cab.  In it I had two 12" Punch P1s, and only a 250 watt MTX Thunder amp.  That was my type of music, throw in Sonic Overload, and I was set.  My wife hated the vibration on her seat, but oh well, when you are moving your bed liners from the air you are pushing, and your back window was moving enough to see it when it was not even at it fullest.  I did not care, I loved the setup.

Edit:  Here is more what I mean by scratches,  I know that it is not all driven by scratches, but it works.

That is X-ecutioners, the bassist from System of a Down (I think), and the singer is from Linkin Park of course.

Another Linkin Park/X-ecutioners combo.

Another just by themselves.

I was only fucking with you when I implied the only difference was the hair and clothes...  even I can acknowledge that there are more than just a few cosmetic differences

Just trying to get to the next page because it wouldn't let me post any more videos on this page...

edit: it worked for dubbs... the forum must have hated my videos or something.... i feel so emo
