Before, I used to use just a headset, connecting it to my laptop through the line-in jacks and was able to use VOIP and the sound would come out of the headphones.
However, I just got some new speakers which connect through USB. I've set the default Sound playback device to be the new speakers (so the sound comes out of the speakers and not the headphones) and I've set the default Voice playback device to be my default laptop speakers (so the VOIP sound comes out of the headphones). I test the sound hardware to make sure and the voice playback comes out of the headphones.
However, whenever I play BF2, the sound comes out of the speakers (great) but so does the VOIP, when I would rather it come out of the headphones.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?
