I respectfully disagree, Adam and Eve were without sin until Satan's temptations. Sure we choose evil, but Satan is the source.

But I really don't want to get into a religious debate...they're pointless in this forum. I'm just giving the people who say why does God allow evil something to think about, although I know most will disagree.

This aint the first time this child abuse thing has happened
many previously were left in the hands of monster parents/foster carers
and Died horrific deaths,yet we get the same bullshit/no blame  from the authorities?
I get pissed off with hearing Social workers (thats a laugh "workers"?) passing the buck
& saying "lessons will be learnt for future cases" - the social "wankers" in this case removed
the kid from these scumbags a year before due to violent abuse,then decided it was ok to
send the child back again?
Just like the same kind of supposed "experts" who release murderers,rapists,pedos. back
in our community to offend again?

Please remember social workers are one of the many groups who you only hear about when things go wrong, not in the vast majority of cases where things work properly.

Of course it must have happened under ALL previous governments !

Read the Bible and you will see why, its called choice, God isn't supposed to control your life. We are 'fallen' and as such sin like these people. From the Garden of Eden story Satan inflitrated mankind and as such will influence things, God allows this to happen because otherwise we would have no choice, as noone has the right to judge others, in theory, and that these people will pay for their sins (unless they repent) when they die. 

You open the topic up for pretty much any debate. Im not a Christian as such, but I see the logic behind the Bible. Its not about the power its not about stopping 'shit happening' as you so clearly put it. For example, you decide to go and drive a car into a wall, now you could ask why God didnt stop it, well by doing so your letting your human emotions dictate to you what should be stopped and what shouldnt be. So your saying that this is terrible and I agree, but we cant see what God wants and doesn't want. I doubt he would be any more happy to let it happen than you but original sin prevails and choice is something we still have.

The whole idea behind the Christian ethos is for YOU the individual to decide to stop doing these things, God will guide you if you ask him. But most people don't and I doubt you prayed for these people along with the girl when you read this headline. This idea of punishment and vengeance is why God doesn't interfer. If he stops it then well how do we ever know what is right and wrong....and how will we know whether to repent or not.

Im sorry if this is confusing but I doubt you will have any idea what the Bible is about or what religion is about either. Seriously, ask stupid questions because your being spontaneous is a bit of a waste of time. If you dont understand and decide to just slag off religions then really you haven't read and really dont deserve to get a response without some insults thrown in. I guess its cos Im just a fallen bastard and I get angry when I see idiots post comments about God and why he should stop everything. I think Sgt. Zubie may have meant that Satan's influence (temptation) causes this kind of evil. We humans still have the ultimate choice, but by temptign certain unstable nutters, Satan does his worst in this world through humans.

Christians believe that God gave us free will: the ability to do evil or good as we see fit. This was contrary to Lucifer's plan of absolute obedience to the law. It'd be a bit hard to tell what kind of person you'd become if you weren't allowed to choose.
