In summer im usually in between my line and edge of the box. purely for the bounce on the usually hard pitches. It is embarassing being lobbed from a bouncing ball. but generally im on the edge of my box so I can act as a sweeper for my defence. i come out screaming 'keepers' at top of my voice so as to put off the oncoming striker. 9 times out of 10 it works. However if my brother is playing he usually gets in my way and we end up brawling because he takes it off me and loses it, as has happened before.......empty net, Goal!! *hangs head iin shame*

Which foot do you use when taking dead balls or free kicks? I use my right foot. Its unusual for a GK to use their left foot, any left footed GK's out there? Or know any pro GKs out there, im not sure of any right now.

I played for Packie Bonner's (Ireland International & Celtic goalkeeper) first club Keadue Rovers for about 4 years and played for my school team for a number of years too. I don't get much opportunity to play these days, which is a shame. Good to see a few other keepers on the forum. Here are my favourites:
Rene Higuita (the great entertainer):
Jose Luis Chilavert (Higuita's successor):
Peter Schmeichel (even as an Arsenal fan I admit he was one of the best):
Pat Jennings (best keeper ever from the entire island of Ireland - couldn't find a good video):
Oliver Khan (the best around in present time - music is a bit gay in this video btw):

Anyone watch the Arsenal game today? Robert Green made some outstanding saves. Absolutely out of the top drawer saves. If I could karma him I would!!
