Here is the official answer to ranking up to the three major ranks (Major General, Lieutenant General and Supreme Commander)

These are known as the 'decay' ranks and are awarded to the top 76 players in the world who have the highest score (experience points) and have reached the 40th rank. The rank is based on the previous week total amount of experience and divided as follows:

Major General - 50 players
Lieutenant General - 25 players
Supreme Commander - 1 player

You don't get any unlocks for being this rank

There are three criteria needed in order for your weekly amount of earned Career Points to be added to your total Career points, these are:

- Reached the 40th rank (Brigadier General)
- 2000-5000 In a Round Score during the week
- K/D Ratio of 1-2 (average during the week)

So in basic terms:

MG - 50 players - 2000 points - 1 K/D
LG - 25 players - 3000 points - 1.5 K/D
SC - 1 player - 5000 points - 2 K/D

Please be aware that some of these scores and K/D ratios *may* have changed since the original document, and these are just guidelines...

What? How are you supposed to get 2000-5000 score in one round?

They mean 2000-5000 actual points during a week - not global points so awards/SL & commander bonus don't count.

I've devised a plan on how to do it.

I'll need a Coathanger,A George Forman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine,a picture of Robert De niro and a copy of Bf 2142.

????

That was a little confusing, i think that perhaps some people are talking about 'Career' and 'Global' points incorrectly, or maybe i have gotten them confused.
But can anyone confirm that the current crop of SC's have met these criteria?

It's possible only if they are talking about career points...

Come on people what don't you understand?

In a Round Score = the score you get during the round.
Kills, revives, caps, heals, ammo, repair and so on.
(The number you see on the far left on the score sheet)

Awards, squad leader bonus, commander bonus are not credited to your In round score.
Those are added after the round.

...
What we don't understand is this

nothing officially is called experience points, so this could be ether C or G.

that second sentence makes no sense, points are always added?

A true IRA score of 2000-5000 would probably get you reset for glitching.  So we have to assume either a career best round, or an overall global score improvement over the week.

I know a guy who did not play during 9 days and obtained the LG rank the tenth day.
Dartboard is the real answer (not official of course)

EA please choose me to get this rank ... I don't need to become a Supreme Commander or Lieutenant General, I would like to become a  Major General ... Which is good enough for me...

NO read what its says 2000 TO 5000 points in a week, so if we worked on 5000

it would be 5000 / 7 = 714.00 points per day,

now i sometimes play about 3 to 4 hours a day depends what i have to do, so lets say 4 hours

it would be 714 / 4 =178 points per hour IAR
