If you live in the UK you will probably know the great hype created by weather forecasts and news reports the last few days about the heavy snow that should of hit yesterday (Wednesday 7th).

I in Cardiff (Wales) got a small amount of snow, just wondering how much else if any other people got.

What i find funny is, when there is a couple cms of snow here, the whole of the UK crashes and its the end of the world as we know it.
But i used to live in germany and when it snowed it snowed good, like a couple feet, you would see grandparents
out putting snow chains on there tires and going shopping. people just getting on with there lives. but not here, in the Uk the elderly are more likly to die.

It snowed really lightly in Lisburn (Near Belfast, Northern Ireland) but it didn't stay, it was about -7* this morning, but its warmed up a bit now...

I hate our weather, I'd prefer it to snow big time, then stop, so we'd have snow and no school, but no blizzard...
