Lahore, Feb 5 (ANI): British intelligence agency MI5 is learnt to have unearthed a design of international terror organisation al Qaeda to carry out a series of kidnappings and beheadings in the UK, of the kind allegedly planned by nine terrorist suspects arrested in Birmingham last week.

The "strategic" assassination instruction was issued by al Qaeda's leaders in Pakistan and Iraq to their followers in Britain, and was uncovered by MI5 last autumn, the Daily Times quoted UK's senior security sources as telling the Sunday Times.

Following report, the UK Police are on a standby for attempts by terrorists to kidnap and then behead people across Britain. The alleged attempt to kidnap and behead a Muslim soldier or soldiers in Birmingham was just the first of a series of planned attacks, security sources said.

Actually there was a very good front-line documentary about the so-called "war on terror" here (Al Qaeda) in America.

I can't remember the exact numbers but out of 400+ (US) investigations - something like 90%+ were just minor VISA violations - with no connection to terrorism.

I think no actual terror connection was found - period; meaning there is no Al Qaeda (sleeper cells) in America.

And (the US:FBI:CIA) their one high profile case turned out to be an utter FARCE.

Whatever, that "Death to Israel" - "Death to America" thing (existing outside America) is probably older than YOU. What is not new is 9/11 (the validity of the details surrounding the event), the war on terror, the Ideology of those pushing the "fear" agenda of the "war on terror."

It is rather strange that after 9/11 there was no Al Qaeda in America, not one sleeper-cell, not one terrorist connection. All the supposed Al Qaeda in America died on 9/11 - very odd.*

*That is not a statement that terrorist have not been in America - they have - and nothing more - than it is an odd coincidence.

The guys that flew into the towers were trained just south of me so yea, they were here. Have you forgotten names like Padilla, Reid and Moussaoui?

I am only conveying "what" the FBI stated - in the Frontline Documentary - that there were no Al-Qaeda CELLS in America after 9/11... feel free to post another - slew of duplicate pictures - if you want.

In the same documentary the concept of home-grown Al Qaeda... recruiting; or as an organization; or that it is happening at the local-mosque - was shown to be not-true; or not supported by facts / cases.

Osama Bin Laden response (about Moussaoui) ... or supposed Osama Bin Laden response (about Moussaoui):

On May 23, 2006, an audio recording attributed to Osama Bin Laden said in translation that Moussaoui "had no connection at all with September 11.... I am the one in charge of the 19 brothers and I never assigned brother Zacarias to be with them in that mission.... Since Zacarias Moussaoui was still learning to fly, he wasn't number 20 in the group, as your government claimed". The voice alleged to be Bin Laden also suggested that Moussaoui's confession was "void" as it was a result of pressures applied during his incarceration.

I have also read that statement concerning Moussaoui but think about it for a minute. Even if one were to say that he wasn't supposed to be the replacement pilot isn't he guilty at the very least of plotting?  That we know, the rest was determined by a jury.

You seem to be intelligent and reasonable, the only problem I have had is when you jump to conclusions. I have never said anything about sleeper cells. Of course I agree the fear is being used as a tool. I invite you to read some of my post on this subject. I have made statements like "you are more likely to drown in the bathtub than to fall victim to a terrorist attack".  And have stated time and time again that "most Muslims are decent law abiding people."

My mind is stronger than government propaganda, however there is good work being done in this country to try and protect it's citizens. Even if the threat isn't as imminent as it is portrayed. That is my point summed up.

Let's look at the pattern of attacks:

US - Not involved in combat in Middle East.  Terrorist attack.  Now involved.  No further attacks.

Great Britain - Involved, but with public reluctance.  Terrorist attacks.  Continued reluctance.  More attacks planned.

Spain - Involved.  Plans to withdraw.  Terrorist attack.

Hmm.......................................

At the time of the Sept 11 attacks the US wasn't involved in direct, large scale military action.

So, you can read minds now, and know what the terrorists care about?

And no, Spain talked about withdrawal long before the terrorist attacks.
