Nasty littel buggers that can ruin a tank's day if you are willing to commit suicide by manning one.
A TOW or "Tube launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided missile" is basically an anti-tank missile which can be controlled for a short amount of time once fired. (Incase you were too lazy to click those links and read the endless amounts of information)
In the context of bf2, in my experience hardly ever used. Occasionally occupied by a commander although still usefull for blowing up armour. Have fun!
