The prison here on Iceland (note: I said prison, not prisons) are of the same grade, or even better than the elderly homes here. They have TV, nice comfortable couches, and shit like that.

I would consider that more of an urban legend. For example, here in Sweden, there's the story about the man from Latvia/Estonia/Lithuania who came to Sweden and killed an elderly citizen hoping to be jailed. The story ended with the guy sentenced to serve time in the country he came from instead of being jailed in Sweden.BALTINS wrote:

One thing that was on the news earlier was about the polish crime gangs in southern Sweden. The poles who had applied for jobs here in Sweden had their passports stolen by polish gangs in Sweden and the workers had to commit crimes to get their passports back.
If I was more bored I would have managed to fit more Sweden into the text and at the same time keeping it somewhat comprenhensible...
