hey guys!
my computer has 4 usernames:
me
my dad
my mum
and my damned sis
(im 12 LOL )

works on all usernames except mine
i even hacked into my sisters to try it out lol
but i tried to play online and the cd key is wrong so i can only play multiplayer  on my dads
(hes the computer's "adim")
when i go onto my username the popup says "Please ensure BF2 install disc is in the drive Press OK and try again"
WTF?
i checked and im 100% its in the drive!

is there any way to let me play on my userrname and to stop bugging my dad to put me on his all the time!

P.S: dont give that crap bout putting  me as a "adim" on the computer ive already asked that will NEVER happen!

I have 2 accounts and it works if i play on the account that i installed it on but I'd get problems if i tried it on the other one.  Have you ever had it working on your account?

Hello henno,

Merely a suggestion, but try having your father (under your account) setup the bf2.exe to run as him (Admin).

good luck!

l8,

P.S. if you re-install under your name, there could be a chance that your father wouldn't be able to play (or will have the same issues). But I'm not sure, since your probably a limited-user and he's an Admin, he should be able to run it. Then again, if you're limited, you may not be able to re-install. Now I'm rambling.

Simple, make yourself admin.

Reboot the computer enter safe mode by pressing F8.

when the PC boots click the Administrator icon to login as admin. If this is passwd protected use other methods.

You need to be the admin or install it under your name. If your the admin when installing it should ask if you want to "install for all users" if you had ticked that it would have worked on all accounts.

So i suggest reinstall using your name.
