I smell an abortion debate.....Stingray24 wrote:
What's the big deal? It's only a blob of tissue, not a baby so she has no case. [sarcasm]
Here we go.....Stingray24 wrote:
That's the core issue here. If it's not a baby, there's no injustice here.
She doesn't sound like an upstanding citizen so I can see why they didn't necessarily believe her. However, they did mishandle the situation.msnbc wrote:
The officers handcuffed Salva after learning she had outstanding warrants for mistreatment of children, trespassing and several traffic violations.
Let's hang her. Seems appropriate. Don't have to pay her, sweep the whole thing away with one jerk of the rope. We can say its for crimes against humanity.Stingray24 wrote:
Pfffff, cops attempting to protect and serve screwed up - no one should lose their job. That's what's messed up about our country: people just trying to do their job get hosed and the person that should be arrested in the first place get rich.
Rather ironic that a personal with an outstanding warrant for mistreatment of children is pregnant . . .
Not so. Miscarriages can cause huge emotional stress. Further, she should have been provided medical treatment if she was bleeding.Stingray24 wrote:

I hate to agree with Bubbalo but he has a point. If she was bleeding for whatever reason, the police should have investigated why, and then sought out proper medical attention for her. She sounds like a low life who shouldnt have kids to me anyway, but that is not my decision and not the cops either.Bubbalo wrote:

What if she was on her way to the hospital to get an abortion?Stingray24 wrote:

Then her plea that she was bleeding is kinda pointless. An Enlarged Liver wrote:

Unless shes the sort person who would see an opportunity to try and sue the police. Probably unlikely though.Stingray24 wrote:

Rather hard to believe she was in danger if she was just grocery shopping before getting pulled over.Bubbalo wrote:
She herself could have been at risk.
