Can't find a ranked server .

Does anybody know why I can't find a ranked server.
I've just received my DVD and want to play so I can get a rank after several months playing on the demo-version.

But to get a rank, i've got to find a ranked server

(I'm from Belgium and my Technical Englisch is not so good, so please keep it simple)

you should be using version 1.12

Enable PunkBuster and look for the little ranked icon to the left of the server name. You can also filter to just ranked servers down below.

When I use the filter "ranked server" and "same version",I get 1 server (if I'm lucky)

If I only use "ranked server", I'll get more then 3000 servers, but they are all red.
Enable or disable punkbuster won't change a lot

Okay, well then you definetly aren't running the latest version of BF2. Red = different version. I bet if you check the ranked filter and uncheck the same version filter, you'll get tons of results.

yeah, you said you have patch 1.12.

did you install patch 1.12?

you have to install it after you download it.

ya so either repatch it or go to community then the second option(dont remember what its called)and choose the bf2 or bf2 sf 1.12. if u dont see that there then u need to repatch it.

When I open the folder EAgames, I see Several maps; BF2 , BF1942, Medal of Honor AA, BF2 demo and at last BF 2 Server.
So the patch is on my computer.
Opening BF2 server shows me ; 6 noher maps, 3 exe files and other stuff

What next ???

Everything is OK

I have number 1.1.2554-356.0
and found 2971 ranked servers.
