Got the PSU and installed it all by myself so I know I can get a card now.  How's this one?

well the price goes to show how much you will be able to turn the graphics up.  get one that is at least 200 bucks...waste of money anything less.

price doesnt matter...i'd say its bad because its agp which sucks big time. get  a good 256mb PCI-E and it will be better then your AGP card and for a few more dollars, from a better job.

Why the FUCK would I want to get an expensive card.  This Radeon 9600 is pure shit compared to that card.  Unfortunately I just found out I only have AGP 2.0 so I need a different card anyway.

its a good choice for an AGP card, of course if your system is AGP. Perfect if you don't have alot to spend on a new system (do it in 6 months or so). I've had an ATI Radeon x1600PRO 512mb 10 months ago and it's been fine.

Perhaps I should get this instead since my AGP slot is only AGP 2.0 according to CPU-Z.

Is that one any good?

I have to say that is very good pricing for an X1950 but it would take me another year to save up that much.  Unless I add the money that my grandad will give me for working on his other computer.  Then i'll only need 40 more $.  Should I do that?

the X1950 is bizzare.  My friend got one(AGP) for his stock HP, with its 200watt power supply and ran it just fine, even during games...I know for a fact since i installed it for him, I told he should get a new power supply(which he did do) but still amazed me it ran without an issue.

It would involve a lot of waiting to actually get enough money for it though.

The 6800XT or X800GTO is your best bet in that price range.

If they make an AGP 7600GT that would be better.
