I dared to be anti-Semitic in the survivor thread (IIRC). Of course, I did get banned.................Vilham wrote:

Exactly, i would like to see similar punishment on others, ofc thats the mods decisions though. People that can not be tolerant of other Human cultures dont deserve to have a say on matters, intolerants only breeds hate, which leads to war and more killing in the name of bullshit.
Well I must say i agree with the latest ban on the guy who thought it would be cute to rename himself after this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Ghetto_Uprising (Warsaw 43)Vilham wrote:

Thats was over the top.

I totally agree with that ban. Btw i bet Usmarine tries to come back at me saying im intolerant of Americans. Just so he knows, im only intolerant of his blatant racism, o and marine you don't count as a culture, sorry, thats just not how culture works.
intolerance and criticism aint the same as long as you´re trying to be reasonable and constructive anything should be allowed.
On the topic i wouldnt say it´s about to become the new anti-semitism there are some major differences although you see the hate growing each days from boths muslims and what should we say non-muslims.

And the worst thing here is the thread is about Islamophobia as a global phenomenon, not only in America, yet people like rawls2 told me I was generalizing coz not all Americans thought all Muslims were extremists. I never implied such thing. The second worst thing is Lowing appearing out of his bunker doing a BS defense of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, you must assume Truman was his grandfather.Vilham wrote:

Who the hell made you the final authority on what culture is? And you say Americans are arrogant.....pfffft.Vilham wrote:

Culture (from the Latin cultura stemming from colere, meaning "to cultivate"), generally refers to patterns of human activity and the symbolic structures that give such activity significance.Vilham wrote:
You.. are... not... a.... culture.... Go read the definition ... .
Do want want to play a defintition game?
I know you think you are god. But one person can NOT be defined as a culture.
This is like you thinking that race is only limited to skin colour. Its not, just so you know. Which makes you a self admitting racist. You might wanna stop posting tbh, you have destroyed all credibility you may have had in the past week or so.

Culture has been called "the way of life for an entire society." As such, it includes codes of manners, dress, language, religion, rituals, norms of behavior such as law and morality, and systems of belief. (Jary, D. and J. Jary. 1991. The HarperCollins Dictionary of Sociology, page 101).Vilham wrote:

Lol way to prove my point. YOU ARE NOT A SOCIETY... You are one person.
If people make up a culture, how am I not considered culture?Vilham wrote:

A society consists of a GROUP of people. One person is not a group, a group is two or more people.
Oh, so know the word you are using is society. I love scrabble.Vilham wrote:

Culture is a part of society. People and their cultures make up society. I am done playing your derailing game.
Let's think this for a second. How many Jews are in the World? 15M. How many Muslims are in the World? 1,5 billion. Now consider that Islamophobia increases and most of the other 5 billion people start hating Muslims. What would happen? While anti-Semitism led to the Holocaust (because of the actions of a deluded asshole), Islamophobia could end in something even worse, given the fact 1/4 of the World's population are Muslims.
lol that doesnt answer my point, but thanks for providing that quote that owned you.usmarine2007 wrote:

What is Islamophobia? Who made this up?
We ask that, say, Muslims obey the western laws in the countries to which they CHOOSE to immigrate. We are apprehensive because of the widespread murder committed by Muslims. These are "Islamophobic". When was the last time Christians kidnapped Muslims, assaulted them, murdered them?
Muslims, on the other head, routinely assault those who affront them (see Theo Van Gogh in the Netherlands, the gay Parisian mayor assaulted during a festival, the murdered priest in Turkey, the murdered nun in Africa ). The rest of us live in fear (see the Danish cartoon controversy, the Berlin opera cancelling their performance with Mohammed's severed head).
The West may have the big guns, but it needs the WILL TO WIN before it sinks into a new Dark Ages of Islam.

Routinely assault those who affront them? Powerful statement. Not enough proof, though.Sondernkommando wrote:

You may live in fear, but I'm perfectly fine. I have never felt any fear from radical Islamists, nor have I ever felt their effects. I will not sink into this fear, either. There is no "new Dark Ages of Islam" upon us. We are not teetering on the edge of capitulation.
Not every Muslim is a terrorist but nearly all terrorists are Muslims - that's not racial profiling, that's common sense
No thats ignorance. Never heard of ETA or the IRA? Carried out FAR more terrorist attacks than Muslim terrorists.Chappy556 wrote:

That would refer to the number of attacks, not the number of terrorists.Vilham wrote:

As you pointed out earlier, this thread is so far gone....
In an attempt to get back to the topic...
No one reacted much to my earlier point "which is stronger? Islamophobia or Western-phobia in the Middle East?"
I would think that Islamophobia didn't really have a start until 9/11. Up until that point I was thinking...wow the Middle East is screwy...not my problem. Or wow, they are burning an effigy of the president in Iran...haha loonies.
So is this a chicken & egg scenario? Because I contend that most of the American public could give a crap about the Middle East until 9/11...now the entire world is obsessed with it.
Hatred for the West has been there for a very long time. So now we even the hate/phobia scale? Well...yeah...eventually it was going to happen right? Especially if provoked?
But how is this different from the Middle East hating us?
It's okay for the Middle East to hate us, but not the other way around? How many years have we failed to improve relations in that region? I always felt it was like the US was knocking on that door over and over again...
When I said "you" I speak of all of you. Then again I ask, where were YOU when such claims have been made and or suggested?? I didn't read anything from you denying such bullshit. It is a weak and fultile arguement that can not be re-enforced by history.sergeriver wrote:
I never called America a terrorist state. Please take your time to read other people's posts before saying such BS. Show me when I called America a terrorist state. I expect an apologize for your BS comment.lowing wrote:
Enlighten me on what I am confused about. Are you saying I MUST be confused because I think all of your posts about America being a terrorist state is bullshit? Your opinion means dick when it does not agree with the FACTS of history. Japan's bombing was not a terrorist attack. For you all to suggest it is complete bullshit and a desporate attempt to try and hold your bullshit opinions together with ANYTHING you can find.sergeriver wrote:
Lowing when I read your posts I remember Brian Dennehy in First Blood. You seem to be yelling all the time and you aren't polite at all, you are confused and that makes you say the wrong stuff.
This is what I said, read carefully.sergeriver wrote:
So Truman is a an angel because he struggled with the decision? He did it despite the moral dilemma he might have had. Is he considered a terrorist? No. Did he commit a crime against humanity? Yes.
You have no apology coming.
Trumand did not commit crimes against humanity. Show ne in ANYONE's legit history book where he was.
