whenever I try to start BF2: SF it comes up with this error: "mods/bf2/shaders/lighting.fx not found!!! _DO_check your working directory, _AND_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)". That was an exact quote. any ideas?

dont reinstall. you have to make sure you patch it again. I had the exact same thing when I boughht it 2 days ago. It patches BF2 to 1.1 during the install. For some reason this causes this error to affect SF. Just patch it again
Exactly! Re-patch! I had the same problem a long time ago.bennisboy wrote:

Yeah, apply the 1.41 full patch again. And gimme karma.
I repatched it again but it still comes up
If you used the full 1.41 patch and it still won't work then uninstalling and reinstalling is usually the next thing to try. And gimme karma.
Search, there is already a topic exactly like this. It was posted a few days ago.
i downloaded it from EA link, how do i do that?Todd_Angelo wrote:

Hit the escape key repeatedly. Press ctrl, alt + delete several times. Then restart the computer, that always works. Banging your mouse against the desk might help (optional)
Results may vary. Hope that helps

the official response from EA is copy the Shaders_Client from you vanillia folder to the Shaders in the XPACK. then copy the Shader_Client for the XPack to the same folder
