I was more trying to say that vague topics saying essentially (no disrespect ATG) "I'm sad this happened" and don't really have much scope for debate have more place on the anniversary of the event than just at some unconnected time, which then are naturally (in the case of 9/11) followed up by "I was sitting in class doing this that and the other when it happened". Not much of a debate IMHO. However, you're more than welcome to disagree with me, that was just how I felt about it.
