If Iran invaded Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is allegedly trying to crush Iran economically. Should Iran fight back with force, would you support a multinational force going in to:

defend Saudi Arabia against the invading force;
defend Iran against the country that spawned the majority of the 9/11 hijackers
get a sun tan and defend nobody?

I have trouble deciding who I'd rahter survive, Iran or Saudi Arabia. Right now I'm leaning towards Iran but I just don't know. What do you think?

I think I'd prefer nobody, but if Iran actually did try that you know that it would take the US all of five nano seconds to head to the Saudi's aid. Too much of that black stuff at stake for them to do anything else.

Won't happen.. Saudi Arabia would drop the cost of oil per barrel and bury Iran in an instant. That is how fellow OPEC countries inflict punishment on each other..lol

To all that said nobody lets remember the Saudi's are selling us most of the fuel we use in our cars. Not helping and a prolonged war would see fuel prices shoot up. Such a war wouldn't be like Iraq it would involve air strikes (both sides) and armour etc. Something that the US and other countries are made to fight. Subsiquentially Iran would be also highly armed as well as Saudi Arabia. Casualties on the ground could be high.

Let me add some fact to this. NetJets US is owned buy Warren Buffet, a very rich and powerful guy obviously. NetJets uses its BBJ to fly the Saudi royal family around with lots of flights to the US.

My point is, the people with money and power make the decisions. Without any question, we would support Saudi.

As for my personal view, I say we support Saudi since they gave us support during the Gulf War.

Well, that's the whole point. Saudi is trying to economically cripple Iran at the moment. There's only so much of that a country can take and then it has to react. If they can't respond in kind, what's left but using the military forces they have been building up?

I think that is what he meant. Anyway, the plane was leased by the Saudis thru NetJets.....Bush did not pay for it.
