Halo is being executive produced by Peter Jackson.
But not Episode 1, 2, 3 or whatever comes after, because the storyline sort of dies except for the weird maggot thingy in the Citadel.Big McLargehuge wrote:

By the way, is that maggot thingy possibly...BREEN?!
But there's more than one. Most likely the plan was for Breen to adopt a host body after he as transported, but that never really happened did it?some_random_panda wrote:

Jackson would be best at Half Life. He's done Zombie films many times and he's done huge epic films and he's done re-makes incredibly true to the originals. I have faith that he wouldn't wreck it.

I believe (not 100% certain) that the CoD creators did base the games off of Band of Brothers and Saving Private RyanDesertFox423 wrote:
Well Call of Duty and MoH:AA both were loosely based on previous WWII media. Look at the similarites- Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan.
and my pick would for Game to Movie treatment would be.... Pong, followed by Pong II: Passion of the Paddle

I'm really not getting my hopes up that Half-Life will be made into a movie. How are you supposed to make a movie where the main character doesn't say anything through the whole movie.Ty wrote:
Peter Jackson would direct Half-Life - if he ever gets done with Halo that is. I have picked Christopher Walken to play the G Man - he was made for the role.

I'd get an unknown actor for Freeman.

Yeah, Jackson's having some trouble with the film companies - mostly because of pay. Even though Peter is awesome I reckon he should just get over his opinion that he's not getting quite what he reckon he's entitled to and do it for the love of movies like he used to.
I'm sure lines will be made for the Gordon Freeman character. There are times in the game where he really should have talked and it seemed silly that he didn't.
F.E.A.R is in the same boat kind of, although there are less opportunities for the protagonist to talk as he's mostly on his own.
The more I think about it the more I reckon Sam Neill would be awesome as Paxton Fettel. Different voice but very similar manner. He can also be fiendishly creepy when he wants to, (see 'Event Horizon' for a fairly recent example.)
That's been thought of before. Apparently a lot of different producers have come to the games creators with scripts but they have been all turned down. I suppose because the game creators want it as true to the game as it can be.Big McLargehuge wrote:

Event horizon fairly good movie and the theory it runs for teleportation. Not a straight line but bending space so it touches together. You got some good idea's ty keep em up.Ty wrote:
