I worked out theres only two males, the other 4 are females. And I think there has to be symmetry in the relationships, if you get me?

5.SplinterStrike  (slightly cryptic one- I am both Mother and Father.
I am seldom still
yet I never wander.
I never birth nor nurse.)

This one I believe is 'time'. Or a clock (Grandfather/Grandmother clock)

8.Paco_the_Insane  (a man is driving in his car, and when hte music stops, he intentionally drives off a cliff.)

I heard this one, or one similar to this, and its a little far fetched. Something to do with there being a power cut in the area, which takes out the radio station, thus no music. This also takes out the hospital where his wife is on life support. Grief overtakes him, and he kills himself.

9.Paco_the_Insane  (when the music stopped, he died. who is he.)

This is slightly more sensible, in that 'he' is a fly (or similar insect) sat on a chair. The music eing played is for Musical Chairs, so the kids sit down quickly. Poor fly.

I'll have a closer look at the others.
those are good answers. the one with the bug is right, and the other one is logical. In the original version, the man is a DJ, and he had just commited murder, with the music still playing on the radio as his alibi. when the music stops, he knows that they will know he killed the person, so he kills himself. But yours is just as logical. Maybe not, tho cus hospitals usually have backup generators.

theres lots of riddles a few pages back that no one has been able to answer yet, im going to relist them with their respective authors since i dont expect everyone to look through 20 pages, and i really want to know the answers, if i missed one or posted one thats been solved, oh well

1.PspRpg-7  (Billy and bobby are both eating sandwiches, bobby is eating PB and J and Billy is eating a tumor. What color are Sally's eyes?)

2.PspRpg-7  (A man in New York witnesses a new report on TV, there was a woman in Colorado that died in an avalanche. The man jumps and and exclaims "That's no accident, she was murdered!" How does the man know? He doesn't know the woman, but it has something to do with his job.)

4.A12345  (in a private cemetery there are buried two grandmothers with their two daughters, two husbands with their two wives, two fathers with their two daughters, two mothers with their two sons, two daughters with their two mothers, two sisters with their two brothers, and yet there are only six bodies total are buried here, without any incest how can this be?)
1. I pmed Psp the other day about this one, he says there is no answer but this is what I sent him:

I wrote:

...I think I figured out what color sally's eyes are.

I was listening to the Nirvana song: Heart-shaped box, and i heard the lyrics, then I went and checked to make sure what I heard was really what Kurt was saying through his mouth full of marbles, and it turns out the song goes like this:

Nirvana wrote:

She eyes me like a pisces when I am weak
I've been locked inside your Heart Shaped box for weeks
I've been drawn into your magnet tar pit trap
I wish I could eat your cancer when you turn black

Hey!
Wait!
I've got a new complaint
Forever in debt to your priceless advice
A tumor is a form of cancer isnt it, so wouldnt her eyes be black?

If not then o well, but I think I deserve karma for even remembering the riddle thread.
2.my best guess is a police psychic, since hitman has been ruled out.

4. the least i can come up with is 8 people to fit the thing, so i'm going to have to say 2 are cremated, so they would not have bodies.

Gah, I was so close, I thought I had this one. Take a look at this link, and see if you can see where I was going with it, and where it could go.

http://www.eia.doe.gov/cneaf/nuclear/pa … rford.html
OMG wow...I never even thought it could be interpreted as a Nuclear Plant. Unfortunately, it is a real plant.
But damn...nice research. +1 just for that.

DAMMIT. I don't even remember the answer to my own riddle (#5)

I hope this thread doesnt go out of control again though. I'm also making a Word document containing all of the riddles asked, who posed them, who answered it and a link to the answer. Taking damn long though

BTW i'll be adding more riddles once I solve my own.

Yeah, the hospital one didnt work out due to back-up generators being likely. Never mind.

I'm not familiar with baseball at all, so I'd probably never have got it.

In terms of the plant riddle, I can only assume it's a plant where the letters T, O, W, A and R are each used once, but there are other letters too.

But I'm making progress with the cemetery thing:

Following that train of thought, is it fair to assume that the 'necessary' family is not all in the same said graveyard? If I'm to say there are only 2 males there, and both of those are sons of two women, then their fathers are not buried with them.

Edit:
To try and make it clearer I've made this elaborate (lol) picture.

M1 and F1 are married, and they have a son: M3
Also M2 and F2 are married, and they have a son: M4

https://img265.imageshack.us/img265/322/tree15lf.png

But both the fathers (M1 and M2) are not present in the same graveyard. Maybe they were cremated. Whatever it is, they aren't present. The above now accounts for the mothers with their sons.

Edit:
We also know that there are two daughters with two fathers. And we have two males, so I made them fathers.
M3 is the father of F3, and M4 is the father of F4.
Now the fathers with daughters are there, as well as grandmothers with grandaughters.

https://img444.imageshack.us/img444/3863/tree11nz.png

Edit:
This should be it. It's not incest, it's doing a woman thats old enough to be mother.
As far as I can see, the only possible mothers for F3 and F4, are F1 and F2.

In essence, F1 and F2 have a son each with M1 and M2 respectively.
They then become widows after the deaths of their husbands.
These husbands are not buried in this graveyard. We'll say they're cremated.
Then each woman procedes to have a daughter with the other woman's son.

The final tree looks like this:
https://img239.imageshack.us/img239/3318/tree5zr.jpg
I hope it makes sense to someone.

Good point. But I can only assume it's not so direct in it's meaning.

Looking at it, M3 and F4 are step-brother and step-sister.
As are M4 and F3.

yup im not going to ask for anymore clarification cause thats pretty much it, the explanation i heard was-two women marry, divorce, have a daughter with their new husbands, and all are buried together, and yes the brother and sister siblings are half blood related

I'll keep an eye out for some new riddles tomorrow hopefully. And I'll take another look at the remaining unsolved ones. Night all.

Wednesday is the name of whatever he was riding on, which btw, you forgot to add in the riddle. .
EDIT: Of course, there might be different versions and the version I heard says that the man rides on a donkey. So, apologies if it is a different version.

Convert to Kelvins (energy of the particles) then divide by two?

I figured out the TOWAR one in a stroke of luck. I was really pissed when I got it though.
ARROWROOT.
The letters t, a, and w are all used just once, o and r three times each. So none of them used TWICE.
It's funny that my mind jumped to arrowroot, weird plant name. Actually quite surprised I have even heard of it.
