I recently dowloaded some custom maps from the TWL site and saved them into my bf2/mods/levels folder. I have other custom maps there such as wake airshow, but the ones I recently download don't work. I extracted all the files and what not so I'm lost. Help anyone?

just move the map folders to eagames/bf2/mods/bf2/maps

I know, that's where I have all my custom maps such as, wake air show, strike2, and the modified 5v5 inf, but, city of the dead, east side and sharqi west don't work?

If they CTD in singleplayer, they may not be single player supported, try creating a local game.

I mean I can't play them on single or multiplayer, the map doesn't show up in my maps at all. And when online servers run them they show up in red?

Are you sure they are not for a dif mod maybe?
Nope, they are for retail bf2.
