I just loaded this game and at startup i get the shaders errror. DO i need to patch or can someone help me dial it in. I know its probably been betaen like the dead horse around here but i cant find any help. Thanx

Reinstall.
K I had this two days ago. There's a lot of topics on it on here, but I couldn't be bothered to wast time either. Re-installing SF doesnt fix it. You just have to re-patch it using 1.41
i had to too be4, i just upgraded my RAM
I ran the 1.41 patch again, that didn't work, so I tried to uninstall SF, and I get this error.

You could try a manual uninstall. I've never done it so I don't know much about it. This thread has detailed instructions.

when i load up special forces this appears in a error box :
mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! _do_ cheak your working directory _and_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer / GP. (really!)
