So the requirements aren't just: 5 global hours of playing with SAS or whoever, but also a minimum score for a Best Round ? like WTF?

PS: normally ( according to the requirements of UBAR ) I should have the SAS ribon

I assume its 20 hrs and some other factors, because the rebelribbon is the only one I haven't recieved yet and I have under 20 hrs, but who knows

Looked at Vegence again. He blows this one away with an Insurgents ribbon at 21 hours.

It most definitly requires a set TIME IN THEATER (time played on all maps that faction takes part in, regardless of if you play them or the other team.) I have determined that it's probably not more than 20 hours with army, 50 hours in theater, and maybe best round score of 80.

It definitly has no IAR requirements, because otherwise it would be awarded in game.

Insurgents play on Night Flight and Warlord. And no, thats not the case, there are plenty of people with the awards without 5 hours on some of the theaters maps.

Just got SAS ribbon today, here's my stats with SAS so far :

time : 30:39:07

wins 112

losses 33

time in theater :

ghost town : 36:39:01

night flight : 01:12:05

warlord : 24:27:50

Ribbon didn't show up in game, I saw it on BFHQ while checkin' stats in game.
I got the ribbon as I was commanding SAS (got 5 consecutive wins with SAS as commander)

i just got the spetznas ribbon and that showed up under awards, but it also appears i got the US ribbon right before it in the latest awards earned list, but it doesnt show up in the actual awards section... i wonder if they made these easier to obtain or something suddenly... cuz im nowhere near getting the US ribbon by all indications, but then maybe thats why its not showing up in awards and just in the latest earned que on the kits subsection of bfhq

out of nowhere today i got the SAS ribbon and im about 40 hours away from the time in theater of 90 hours that we origionally thought, god i wish ea would just tell us.

Maybe a BR of 80 30 hours as the team and possibly 30 hours combo of each map that side plays in.

I am just guessing but hopefully this helps.

did anyone ever look at the ribbon in BFHQ in the game, cause it says criteria: Play every SAS map + Time in Service. I just received mine so lets take a look at my time in service. I have 24 hours as SAS, however I have 25 hours as Spetz and yet no ribbon?? perplexing? i think so.

Ok, I haven't played since a few days before christmas.. I just played one round of Leviathan, on SEALs, and lost. Got the ribbon.. Now.. either I was like 99% to the ribbon, or something changed during the holiday... I totally just busted the 20+ hours as each team thing..

I don't even have that much time in theatre as some people do. I'm about to play a round of MEC SF and see if I get it too.

Nope, as stated above I got the SEAL ribbon on my first game I've played in weeks and it was a loss.

COuld it be play every map + 100 wins as a certain country?

Perhaps the insurgent ribbon is less since they are only on two maps? I have seen a couple of people with it at around 75 wins.
