Not just a problem, I can't fucking install anything.
First, got the "modified content" bs when tried to join an EF server. So I decided to reinstall everything.
First I uninstalled everything like explained in this pots http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=60882. Weird thing, the first registry key didn't exist (04858915-9F49-4B2A-AED4-DC49A7DE6A7B). But I disinstalled everything.
Now, when I try to reinstall the game (not SF or a booster pack or a patch, but the freaking GAME from my own dvd wich always worked fine), it simply doesn't work. It fully loads the InstallShield Wizard preparation windows to 100% and then nothing. It just closes the windows and nothing happens. No open applications in Task Manager, nothing.
I tried to copy the DVD on my HD and install from there with the same result.
