Second, did you attend a Catholic school? That place seems to freak out those who aren't big on religion. I also believe that as an Irishman, that whole religious belief conflict in that area would explain this supposed "evil and wrong" allusion to others. I as well was raised Catholic and have never in my life experienced any religious superiority crap. I even doubt any of the priests I know would call another religion wrong or evil, which is very disturbing that people would actually say that.
