Real simple question: When flying a jet, how do you toggle from dropping all your bombs to one at a time and back?

I think it happens by accident....Sometimes when you reload you only get one bomb. Sometimes after that happens I seem to only drop one at a time. Maybe that there is a button to toggle it. Like semi and full auto. I don't know......

You have to tap tap tapparooo the release, tap once = 1 bomb vs. hold down = all bombs.

Are you sure? There are times where I could swear I held down the release button and only 1 out of 2 were dropped. I'd be pissed because I'd get damage assist when I felt that I would have gotten the kill had 2 bombs deployed.

well, to be honest, i've never just held down the trigger to drop bombs. i always either click once for one bomb, or click a few times for multiple bombs. i would assume it has the same effect though.Knave wrote:

as for dropping multiple bombs though, you'll probably find that when you drop more than one, you'll be a bit less accurate. sure, you'll have a bigger damage radius and those two radii may overlap a bit, but the bombs usually don't drop right next to each other unless you're diving straight down. for taking out armor you're almost better dropping one, then swooping around and dropping the other one instead of dropping them both at once.
Anyone else have any other input regarding my initial question? Just wondering if there is a toggle at all, it would be nice to have control over this...
just tapping DOES work but it's really hard
real way to drop only 1 bomb at once is load just 1 bomb when you go back to base(carrier, airfield whatever). you only need to do it once and after that it'll just drop 1 all the time unless you change the jet
it works for bombers too and if you want to drop everything, just hold the trigger

i'm sorry guys but if you have some skill at flying and if you know how to, you can drop 2 bombs in almost same spot.

i got it the other way around: short clicking my joystick button drops 2 bombs
When you have a full load you can carpet bomb (with the bombers), but when you go back and reload when you are not empty e.g 1 or 2 bombs left and you go and top them up you wont be able to carpet bomb, you have to tap.
