Hi

I have a big problem for which I ask for help ... I select an server , the map is loading on , but after that , when I want to select an profile or a base where to join the mouse is not moving any more . I tried to create a new account ( even if I had some points ) , the new worked for a while than the same problem appeared .
  Can anybody help please ? Thank you .

I know this is not going to be something that you probally do not want to do, but try uninstalling, the reinstalling.  Do it in this order:

BF2 -> SF -> Boosters -> Patch 1.41.

it sounds like the game forgot your control settings.

do this:

go to my documents > BF2 > profiles> 0001 (if thats the right account. if it was the first profile used on your pc it will be one.) >controls.con

somebody else needs to help you from this point, i have to leave.


another thing you could try is going to "options" and changing it there. in fact i'd do this first. changing the .con files is usually a last resort.

Isn't it BF2 -> SF -> Patch 1.41 -> Boosters -> Patch 1.41?

Anyway... try deleting your account and letting the system retrieve it at the BF2 log-in screen.

Yep happened to me but in 2142.  Just go into your options and click on apply the default settings.  Then change them to whatever you had them at before.  Then .. go into your profiles folder and make a copy of it and save it somewhere.

i thought this was simply a need to 'right click' with the mouse, this brings the pointer to active on the map/kit screen, as its is sticking on the game screen when you die. (basic explanation)
See if it is simply that before anything more drastic.
